Stress and anxiety keep us from being able to live happy healthy lives
Stress can be caused by daily pressures, such as an ill loved one, deadlines at work or demands placed on us from many different sources. These feelings can also arise from past negative events affecting how we see ourselves and the world around us.
When we are experiencing these feelings, our physiological system undergoes many changes, all of which can lead to chronic pain and illness.
A few examples of physical changes that occur with continued stress and anxiety are:
Cortisol and Adrenaline get released into the brain and bloodstream
The immune system shuts down
70% of the blood leaves the prefrontal cortex (thinking brain) and we can find ourselves unable to think clearly or to problem solve, (often what is needed to reduce the stress and anxiety at that moment).

Tapping or is a self-applied technique that uses a sequence of light physical “tapping” on external acupressure points. This allows the body and mind to enter into a state of calmness and relaxation.
Tapping uses the same principles as Acupuncture - used in Chinese Medicine for the past 5,000 years.
The healing that occurs is based on meridians, the energy channels of the body; keeping the energy flowing freely is what allows health. Acupuncture and Tapping both help to clear blocks in the body’s energy system by stimulating certain points on the body.
